How to become the only seller to sell a product?

I have direct contact with the brand owner of a product. We are already selling product and they want us to be the only seller to sell under the specific ASIN. Does anyone know if this is at all possible and the steps to go about it?

You need to be careful about anti competitive trading. The Competition Act prohibits agreements that lead to the abuse of a dominant market position.

You need your own version of the product, brand register your Co, then report everyone who sells the same item.

Needs unique EAN or UPC Barcode with GS1 and you need to trade mark your name.

If an item anyone can sell, then you can add, but not stop others selling it, unless they are selling a fake item, etc
