Supply invoices for Sony brand but I have never listed/sold Sony items
I have received an email from Amazon telling me to supply invoices for my branded listing by 5th September and failure to do so will mean the listing is removed.
The brand in question is Sony. However I only sell jewellery and gifts, I have never listed any Sony items and none of my items refer to Sony.
The email says "If you believe that we have misidentified your products, submit a dispute via the ‘View Selling Applications’ dashboard in Seller Central." I have gone there and there is not mention of Sony.
I have tried to raise a case but the form keep asking for an ASIN or SKU, but I can't give one as the email does not mention one.
Any advice please?

Could this be a phishing email? Did you, by any chance, enter your login details via a link in the email?

Update: I have at last managed to get through to seller support and they say they have no idea why the email was sent to me.
They have confirmed I have no Sony items and my Account Health is good. Scared the heck out of me when I saw the email I can say.

Do you sell any CDs, DVDs or games?
Sony now own lots of music and video brands and distribute Disney products too, as far as I know.

iive just had this same email, i sell jewellery as well and mine mentions sony and hp!

I' not suggesting you do. I was speculating that there might be key words or title words in your listings that Amazon bots have mistakenly flagged as belonging to some Sony product or the other.
With Sony owning the copyright to countless titles it's likely the odd word might get flagged.
On the other hand, it might just be bots going rogue [again]

Same.... .es .de .fr .it .nl & .uk emails
We only sell in the UK, and the brands are nothing to do with us.
Each sites email showing variations of Dyson, Philips, Samsung, Microsoft, HP, Canon, Sony
There's another thread about it too: HERE

Same her. I sell clothing in the UK only, I do not sell Sony, HP, Canon or KÉRASTASE - yet have just recieved emails from amazon. es and amazon.de saying I need to supply supplier invoices for these brands - which I do not and never have sold - and which have no reference on any of my listings.

It's not something that will affect account health - basically they're just saying certain brands will be restricted that date and associate you with them. If you don't sell them then no action is needed.

Just to add to the others that have had this. I've had it for various EU stores which I no longer sell on, and today had it for the UK store for the following:
dyson PHILIPS Samsung Canon HP
Never sold any of those.
God knows where they get their info. I suspect the AI is being a little too sensitive and flagging too many, and a badly worded email ( Our review has identified potential customer complaints, authenticity concerns, or violations associated with your listings. ) is making it sound more personal than it is.
Near impossible to work out which listings it's talking about, but I suppose I'll find out on the 17th, or more likely never hear about it again.
