GTIN code unrecognized during listing creation

Hi there,
I purchased some GTIN codes on GS1 and I put it in the listing creation. But I got this error message “The value specified for the field is lesser than the minimum allowed value” when I choose GTIN. And when I choose EAN, I have a popup showing the error message “You are using UPCs, EANs, ISBNs, ASINs, or JAN codes that do not match the products you are trying to list. If you believe you have reached this message in error, please contact Seller Support.”
Somebody encounters that issue?

try another code in the batch as they may have sent you previously owned codes

I’m also having the same issue. I tried a few different GS1 codes and all gave the same error. Did you find a work around?

Are you brand registered ? Are you putting in your brand as it is registered ?
If you are not brand registered, are you putting ‘generic’ or ‘n/a’ as the brand ?

Hi, I have the same problem. Any solution for this issue?

I figured it out. I informed the support about my pending brand registry and sent some pics of my product packaging. I could list products after that.

Hello @The_Reading_List_Ltd ,

When I am choosing EAN as the product ID instead of GTIN, I am having a popup showing the error message “You are using UPCs, EANs, ISBNs, ASINs, or JAN codes that do not match the products you are trying to list. If you believe you have reached this message in error, please contact Seller Support.”

Can you please confirm if you had the same message and if you went ahead, was your listing approved by Amazon?

Thanks and kind regards
Yogeswar

Hello, this is happening to me right now. I just got the GS1 barcode on the website for 30 dollars and when I am doing the listing I get the same error.

What exactly did you do ? should I get a few days to get the barcode active as I just got it? also, are you registered for a trademark? because I am not, I don’t mind if I don’t do it because this is a product that I want to finish and I won’t sell it again.

Thanks
