How to generate upload template files
Hi,
I’m going crazy with this. We have 2 new products we want to add, so I’m trying to create a new Upload Template file. I’ve managed this in English, but I can’t find my categories via Add Products via Upload > Download an Inventory File.
As an example, I’m on Amazon.de and I want to find a category for my USB cable. I have:
All it seems to come up with is HDMI Cables! What I want is 364921031 - found on http://browsenode.org/?lang=DE&node=364918031 ?( http://browsenode.org/?lang=DE&node=364918031
Why doesn’t the search feature allow you to just put in the node id into your search? Is there a faster and cleaner way to do this via a CLI / API request? I’ m going crazy trying to find these files, and I’ve not even got to the point of creating the products yet!
TIA
Andy

Anyone? This is crazy I can’t even find the categories that are on amazon.de IN THEIR OWN TEMPLATE BUILDER!!! At least with the english categories I can work it out, but French, German, Spanish, Italian are all not a language I speak - so I need a way to find the categories (what I do is look for similar products on the marketplaces, find the node id, and then look for that - but you stupidly can’t search just by node id in the template builder!

So there is no way to do this? Search for node:12345 in the template builder? I find it bonkers that there isn’t a way to do this better. We have only a few items we sell in similar categories. I’m not sure how bigger guys would cope where you have hundreds of categories
