Succesful ASIN no longer has sales rank "Not eligible", not searchable, only seachable through ads

This is very odd - we sell waterproof notepads - successfully selling at reasonable volumes for 5 years. Rising up through the rankings to take on the main market leader “Rite in the Rain”.

For about 3 weeks now, we have had no sales rank for our main ASIN. I have inquired into this at length and am simply being told that:

"The ASIN does not have sales rank because we do not have any eligible sales associated with the ASIN.

Eligibility criteria for orders considered for sales rank generation are changed from time to time to ensure that our lists are providing our customers with relevant information. Eligibility criteria for badging is also constantly revisited to make the badges relevant to our customers.

We cannot share these eligibility criteria."

We had started to seriously encroach on RITR leadership in this area after much time and money spent on amazon ads for us to be near top ranked for search terms "Waterproof pads, “waterproof notepads” etc - now the ASIN is no longer searchable with these search terms at all.

It is only available on these search terms if we pay for the top spot through ads using these keywords.

Essentially we have been screwed on years of work and thousands of pounds in ad expenditure, to be relegated invisible outside of any search unless we explicitly pay for it. Something stinks here.

I have checked that the category is all ok (not flagged by AMZ as “adult” or similar and its all fine.

Anyone have any idea at all why this has happened and thoughts on escalating or resolving this?

The ASIN is " B07BK62LYZ "

It is searchable using only very tight search terms directly related to the item - anything a little outside doesnt show up at all, unless paid for with ads.

We have the exact same issue for 50 ASINs - BSR has disappeared overnight. Seller Support response to multiple cases “the concerned ASIN(s) are not eligible for sales rank at this time. Please note that specific eligibility criteria cannot be shared.” Did you get anywhere with fixing this?

Sorry if i am a little late but if an asin loses its sales rank it usually means it is not properly assigned to a browse node. If you go to your listing backend you should be able to see which category it is in. If the product is not assigned to a sub category then it does not show the BSR. I also had an issue where my listing was not showing up in search for relevant keywords and i believe the issue was there was a keyword which was restricted in my search terms. Amazon couldnt find the issue but i fixed it by process of elimination with keywords. Strip it down to the most basic and relevant search terms and then keep adding until you find the problem.
