What is the best delivery company

Good Evening to everyone here…

I just want to ask about the best delivery company for shipping small parcels, I shipped all the orders with Royal Mail from started selling on Amazon, which is one year, but some parcels did not receive to my clients especially when the parcel is Second Class service and with no tracking number, can anyone give me advice.

Thank you in advance
Farah

Royal Mail are as good as anyone else. If you sent everything 2nd class no tracking however, you don’t know if any of the parcels got there. The likelihood is most did arrive, a small percentage won’t and then some customers unfortunately, likely knowing how Amazon works, know that they can claim a refund for none delivery as there’s no tracking, even if it did arrive.

No courier will be able to claim 100% successful delivery rates.

Your best choice is to stick with your current option and build in none delivery losses (refunds) into your selling prices, or look to move to a more expensive service, which at least has tracking, and increase prices to cover it (or make less margin)

Best service in my experience is Royal Mail for reliabiulity when they are not striking.

Couriers are much a muchness with APC, DPD, UPS etc and then your budget couriers are EVRI and Yodel. Personal experince is that yodel is better than EVRI who are an absolute nightmare to get in touch with when you do have a problem.

Evri can be cheaper than Royal Mail on the buy shipping but depending on your volume (over 5000 small parcels per year) then you might want to consider getting a tracked 48 and tracked 24 service with Royal Mail and get them to profile your weights and get a deal on fixed costs for sending out average weights.

I wouldn’t say I have saved a great deal of money but I have saved a huge amount of aggravation on chasing up non deliveries.

Agree with other replies - RM, regardless of 1st or 2nd class - makes no difference, just delivery times.
Are you sure your customers are not receiving them ? - sadly it is a known scam for customers to claim INR and then get a refund, but have already received the parcel.

Also agree with this - I use Yodel for some of mine, and never had a single problem,.
