Buyer Uses False Return Reason Saft-T claim deniewd

Had a buyer return a brand new unused item claiming it was defective. The item was reruned in brand new unused condition so there is no way the buyer can claim it is defective because they have not even used it. There is no buyer message to claim it is defective. Upon receiving the item I took detailed photos to show the item is brand new and unused and made a Safe-T claim. Of course they have denied it stating that the evidence was insufficient to demonstrate that the wrong return reason was used.

Surely the only relevant evidence here can be the photos of the item showing no defect. The buyer never messaged claing it was defective. Amazon Safe-T satff have no qualifictaions, nor do they know anything about the product to determine the issue. The sales contract is between the buyer and seller so surely The seller, in the absence of any evidence or claim from the buyer, should decide the issue and provide the evidence.

How to get the denial overturned?

If you don’t agree with the SAFE-T’s decision — and you have additional information and evidence to support your argument — you can appeal the SAFE-T claim. You must file your appeal within seven days of the claim decision.

yes I have done this but they just keep repeating the same message that they deem the evidence as not sufficient. I sent the photos of the actual item returned showing that it is brand new and unused. This is the only possible evidence and frankly the Safe-T team have no knowledge of the product and are not fit to make any decision. The buyer has not provided any evidence at all.

I have asked them to explain their evidence based reason and they refuse.

Clearly they have no reason based on the evidence provided and the decision is arbitrary and as usual backs the fraudulent buyer.

I am sick and tired of this bulls**t and incompetence from Amazon.

In the short term I have now decided to add the potential return postage cost into all my prices, making the Qmazon price for my products 15-25% more expensive than EBay or OnBuy.
