Shipping cost confusion?
So I’m about to post my first item, but I’m confused by how Amazon postage works.
I type how much I want to sell my item for, Amazon then prefills the shipping box (in this case £4.48) which then brings my total cost up. When my item sells, will I receive that £4.48 or will i just receive how much I listed the item at? Also when a customer goes to buy my item, will they see that postage is £4.48 and my item cost is lower, or will they see the final total cost? Thanks!

Buyers will see both the price of the item and shipping cost, when added to their basket both costs will be displayed with the total cost to pay.
When sold you will receive the total price the buyer paid, less all Amazon fees deducted (on both item price and shipping cost).
If you have a professional account (paying the monthly pro-merchant fee) then youcan set your own postage cost, or offer free postage if you wish.

Tom - you are told exactly how much you will receive as you list your items.
