VTR issue in Spanish marketplace effecting sales in all marketplaces
Today (21/8/25) at 12:28 I received an email telling me that I have an issue with my VTR (I can say that this issue stems from the rubbish DD+7 policy but that’s a separate issue) since that time I have had no sales in any marketplaces. This is not normal for my store, I usually make good sales, in the lead up to the email I made a sale every hour. I can see that this issue has caused this problem, it is not a coincidence that as soon as I receive this message my sales suddenly completely shut down. It’s Amazon policy that each marketplace is individual and shouldn’t effect other markets but any time I have a problem in one marketplace suddenly my sales are effected in every market. I contacted Amazon and was told that some sellers have noticed that they have the same issue. I want to know why some sellers are being treated differently from other sellers.

It’s now 3 days since this email, according to Amazon Seller Support my sales aren’t effected by the problem but according to the global snapshot provided by Amazon I can see a massive effect.

Sales on 20/8 were nearly £500, day before £300 and day before £400. As soon as I received the email on 21/8 the sales over the next 3 days have been under £100 and I’m meant to believe this is a coincidence!

I was always a fact that since you've got 1 account connected to multiple marketplaces, an issue in 1 marketplace will affect the account hence all marketplaces.
You've got 1 account, 1 account health, 1 delivery performance score and 1 VTR.

Hello @Seller_29AF2b8VJNr8z,
This is Larry from Amazon. Thank you for bringing this to our attention regarding your concerns about the Valid Tracking Rate (VTR) notification and its impact on your sales performance across marketplaces.
I understand your observation about the sales decrease following the VTR notification. To clarify, VTR is calculated separately for each marketplace, and performance metrics such as VTR are evaluated independently for each store. While some account-level enforcements may affect multiple marketplaces, VTR performance is marketplace-specific.
To address your VTR concerns:
- Review your tracking information submission process for the Spanish marketplace
- Ensure you're providing valid tracking numbers for all applicable orders
- Monitor your Account Health dashboard for specific VTR requirements and current status
For additional information about VTR requirements and best practices, you can visit:
Valid Tracking Rate (VTR) Policy
Thank you,
Larry
