TikTok Shop removes Shipped by Amazon from list of approved couriers

Just had this message from TikTok

We hope this message finds you well. We reached out to you on 20th May 2024, regarding tracking issues around shipped-by-seller orders via Amazon UK. Further to that, we would like to advise that Amazon will no longer provide tracking updates on orders shipped using Amazon’s Direct Fulfillment method. (where the orders are fulfilled via Amazon marketplace).

Per TikTok Shop's Customer Orders Shipping Policy , sellers bear the responsibility of providing timely and precise dispatch information. In instances where the carrier or partner carrier fails to deliver timely and accurate information regarding the order's actual status, these lapses will be regarded as a seller failure to adhere to the SLAs set out in this Policy.

From 10th June 2024 , TikTok Shop will no longer be making any exceptions to the above shipping policy if the order is not tracked.

Says a lot when we are held to such high standards for providing tracking and timely delivery when TikTok removes Amazon from their approved couriers because Amazon cannot do the same with their own services.

Reading that (Amazon's Direct Fulfillment method) is that where the seller on TikTok would be essentially placing an order on Amazon itself to fulfil the order - so essentially drop shipping.

It's not MCF, again, at least how I've read it.

I would imagine the issue there is, as a seller on TikTok you can't upload any tracking - as unlike Royal Mail/DPD etc - there's no actual way, aside from within the sellers own account, to track an amazon order.

Could have misunderstood?
