Listings not eligible for Cross-border selection

We have 3 FBA products (each with variations) that we wanted to sell in Canada and Mexico also.

However we received a message saying:

"This product is ineligible because it is does not comply with Cross Border Compliance requirements.

We replied asking what the requirements were for these products but they cannot and will not answer the question or further extend. They keep giving the same automated response without any further explanation.

How do we find out what these compliance requirements are?

I wanted to check in with you as I heard back from the partner team and they are aligned with the feedback that has been provided to you on CASE ID ending in 7821.

The products you are trying to list fall within the baby/infant category, which is restricted for Remote Fulfillment to MX and CA. I am providing you with some resources that you can review below:

Amazon has published a video explaining Remote Fulfillment restrictions and policies. It can be accessed in Seller Central by navigating to Main Menu > Inventory > Remote Fulfillment with FBA > Scroll Down to Program Information > “Product Eligibility” or directly via this YouTube Link

  • Seller Central - Remote Fulfillment Platform

By navigating to Seller Central > Main Menu > Inventory > Remote Fulfillment with FBA > Manage Listings, sellers can find:

  • A list of ASINs eligible or ineligible for Remote Fulfillment and exportable reports.
  • Program Policies and additional information on Restricted Products, including:
  • Remote Fulfillment with FBA Program, products eligibility, enrollment requirements, etc. --> LINK <--
  • For this specific case, restricted product examples such as "baby and toddler products intended for children under 36 months old."

To sell in the Mexico Marketplace, you may be able to ship directly to Amazon’s Fulfillment Center in Mexico, following the steps outlined here.
