Amazon is terminating your Associates account
I’ve just received this:-
"Hello,
Effective in seven days, Amazon is terminating your Associates account as well as the Operating Agreement that governs it, found here: https://affiliate-program.amazon.co.uk/help/operating/agreement.
Why?
You haven’t referred any qualifying sales for more than 365 days.
What’s next?
You must stop using the Content and Amazon Marks and promptly remove all links to the Amazon site. You will be paid on the regular schedule for any outstanding fees that have accrued prior to this notice.
You are welcome to reapply at any time by visiting https://affiliate-program.amazon.co.uk/.
Thank you for your participation in the Amazon Associates Programme."
I’ve no idea what the ‘Amazon Associates Programme’ is, ‘Content and Amazon Marks’ etc. (Sorry, I’m an old-school bookseller and a lot of this is beyond me). I assume my normal selling account is ok?

Amazon associate accounts (correctly Affiliate accounts ??) - where you promote amazon items via a 3rd party website / social media etc, and you then get a % of the sale. I guess you signed up at some point and didn’t actually do anything with it.

Yes , the Amazon Associates Programme is separate and not part of your selling on Amazon account . I take you you used a different email . If the notice came to the same address as your Seller Central email , than you used the same email to register . However it should still be separate and should not affect your Selling account .
