How to get (and see my) feedback ratings from customers?
This is a proper newbie question but we all start somewhere!
How do you get ratings for your shop (as opposed to product reviews/stars)? Is it a case that you have to hope the customer will proactively visit their Your Orders account page and opt to ‘Leave Seller Feedback’? Or is there a way I can actively send a direct link to them saying ‘Please leave me feedback’? Are there other ways Amazon encourages people to leave seller feedback that I am not seeing.
As a regualr buyer on Amazon I never get asked to leave Seller Feedback. Maybe I opted out years ago, not sure.
One competitor has 82,000 ratings - can it really be the case that all of those customers have gone to their Your Orders page and left a star rating?

Your competitor has probably used feedback request software to help them increase their percentage of feedback left.
But at the same time, 82000 ratings means around 1 million sales as a rough guess.
To see your feedback, go to Seller Central : Performance : Feedback or just click on the Customer Feedback section.

Get used to 1 feedback per 20 orders.

1 in 20 is pretty low, any tips for increasing that? Does anyone offer incentives to buyers who leave feedback?

We have sold over 500 items and we have 9 feedback. We have tried all sorts but no one ever leaves feedback any more
