I am a seller who strictly adheres to Amazon’s policies and regulations. I only operate in the Japan marketplace and have never listed or sold any products in the UK marketplace. Furthermore, I have never engaged in any activities that violate Amazon’s policies. However, my UK marketplace account was suspended, which has caused all my linked accounts, including the Japan marketplace, to also be deactivated. This has had a significant impact on my business.
I have made multiple attempts to contact Amazon UK’s customer support team via phone to seek assistance in reactivating my account. Unfortunately, I have not been able to resolve the issue, and my account remains suspended.
I am very puzzled as I have always operated my business in compliance with Amazon’s rules and provided genuine documentation. After reviewing the situation, I suspect that the issue might stem from the following reasons:
The UK marketplace account has been inactive for a long time and lacks payment information.
During the account registration process, due to language barriers, I used translation software and may have mistakenly filled in the company name field with my personal name.
After the account was suspended, I did not receive specific guidance from the verification team. As a result, I submitted my company’s business license and my personal identification documents, which are consistent with the details provided during the registration process. However, Amazon’s verification team stated they could not validate the information, which led to the account remaining deactivated.
My main concerns are:
Why were my genuine documents not verified?
Is there any missing information? If so, what additional documentation is required?
I am fully committed to cooperating and providing any necessary documents. I sincerely request guidance from Amazon UK’s verification team or assistance from fellow sellers who may have faced similar issues. I hope to understand what went wrong, how to rectify it, and the exact steps I need to follow to reactivate my account.
