Suspended for violating review policy - PoA
Hello,
I need some help to write an appeal for my suspended account. One of my customers wanted to change the items to a different colour product. I offered him a replacement and told him that instead of returning the original item he can keep it and write a review. I didn’t tell him to give me “positive review” or “5 star review” and I did it only one time… Anyway, my account is suspended and I need to write a plan of actions to reinstate my selling privileges. I wrote many PoA for suspended accounts due too high ODR, most of the times it worked, but this situation is first for me, so maybe someone has a template of PoA for this?

Please post the full notice that Amazon sent you informing you of your account suspension. That way you will get the best advice.

Summary
Hello,
now understand the actions we have taken were against Amazon policies and we have violated seller code of conduct which resulted in our suspension.
After our investigation and lots of research with our team, we found the areas that we have failed. I believe that these violations happened because we did not carefully read the “Prohibited Seller Activities and Actions”.
The root cause of the issue:
- We Offered customers a full refund Or a free items and asked for a feedback revision or removal in return. This is a manipulation of feedback and ratings. I have included the order numbers that violated this policy: 111-9359208-7453844, 114-0595391-9801829, 113-4409908-3486661,111-5141648-2053835, 113-7135819-3313026-112-9985642-6208243.
- We listed some items twice to get more sales. Three of our items were duplicated in our Amazon store. We listed them against 6 different ASINs at different prices. This is a violation Sales rank and Search and Browse.The following ASINs were in violation: 1- (B073NFHHRB, B00J6U78PK) 2- (B00021DC70 , B004EHMDPA) . 3- (B0022QCY72, B000JL7WQK).
- The following ASINs violated the Search and Browse policy since we used wrong or irrelevant Key Words, repeated key words, brand names, Products names. We never updated these listings according or Amazon policies. These are the ASINs: B07J3BZKVY , B07L7HQVJX , B07QX259C8 .
- We offered a coupon for Our Banana Republic Icon collection fragrances. A discount code of %20 was provided. This is a misuse of Sales rank. The coupon title was “Save 20% on Banana Republic Icon Collection.”
The actions we have taken to resolve the issue:
- I have carefully read the “Prohibited Seller Activities and Actions”. the complete policies and Agreement section on Amazon. The above actions were in violation of “Misuse of Sales Rank”, “Misuse of Search and Browse”, and " Misuse of Feedback, Ratings or Reviews". We have already explained these policies to our staff.
- I understand that feedback is a direct reflection of Customer’s shopping experience we and we should not manipulate customers or feedback by offering products or money. I understand now that resolving customer’s issue is more important that our feedback and ratings.
- We have removed all the duplicated items from our store. We checked all of our items and made sure no more item is duplicated.
- The listings that had problems with the Keywords or description were updated and we have removed the brand names, repeated words and any other key words that were in violation of Search and Browse. We have reviewed every listings that we have on Amazon and fixed the fields one by one. The listings are modified now and in compliance with Amazon policies. We have also read and understood the “Optimize Listing for Search” and identified our errors.
- We have terminated the coupon code on Amazon. We understand this activity is in violation of Sales Rank.
The steps you have taken to prevent the issue going forward:
- We will not offer any incentives/discounts in exchange of changing reviews or feedback. If we receive any negative feedback we will not offer customers a free item or full refund in exchange for feedback removal. We will make sure to resolve the customer’s problem to make sure she/he is happy with their experience on Amazon.com
- We will use a listing software calls Seller Active to list our products on Amazon. This software will help us to identify duplicate listings and will not allow us to list 1 item twice. I’m sure this will help us to provide a better shopping experience for our Amazon customers. Also, every time we want to list an item on Amazon we use different product identifiers like UPC, Name, Brand to make sure same item is not listed twice.
- We have already deleted about 400 Listings and will continue to review every single listing we already have and the new items we will be adding on Amazon. com. We will make sure to use the correct information on our listings and follow the instructions on Optimizing Listing for search on Amazon. In order to optimize our listings we will only use Amazon tools like Campaign Manager to advertise our products.
- We will not offer any more coupon codes on Amazon to increase sales of an item. We will use the Brand Enhancement Tool and Promotion option that is offered by Amazon for our future sales.
- We will have have a meeting with our staff on a weekly basis to make sure everyone is up to date with Amazon policies and prohibited activities.
We have never wanted to violate any Amazon.com policies but we failed to review and understand the policies. However, we are now fully educated our selves with Prohibited Seller Activities and Actions. I believe we identified the issues that led to suspension and our desire to make corrections going forward.
We would like to have our account reinstated. Our team will put all of their efforts to comply with your policies.
