Hi
In the EU, I sell a simple bath tray, that is made of bamboo wood. It does not require safety or warning information of any kind. I attested to Amazon that this was the case - there was an option to click a button on the compliance dashboard, which I did back in August 2024. The compliance dashboard accepted this, as the request went to Archived status.
Now, in November 2024, I have another request to upload "GPSR: warning and safety information". I apparently need to upload a document or images showing this information. Why? My product is not edible, a chemical, its not machinery, electronics etc etc, it's a piece of wood in essence. Just one month from the December 13th deadline, and only now I am being asked to provide this, with the threat of deactivation of the listing.
I created a seller support case and it was escalated, but frankly I could be waiting forever. Case ID 10499723962
Can someone from Amazon please respond as to why this is happening, it doesn't make sense. @Ash_AMZ@Sarah_Amzn@Abella_AMZ@Julia_Amazon@Julia_Amzn@Winston_Amazon@Maya_Amazon@Simon_Amazon@Spencer_Amazon
I think you'll find that almost all products (barring a few categories listed in the guidance) will need to be covered - even books for example. A simple bamboo tray isn't one of the exceptions.
Crazy isn't it?
