Fulfillment Center delay shipments

Hi

My recent shipment to Manchester MAN 1 was just delivered and was held for a month by UPS upon Amazon’s request.
My new shipment is scheduled for Derby and is there a way to avoid such issues?
Did anyone recently have issues with EMA1 Fulfillment Derby, such as backlog?
Thanks

The only thread where this new Amazon FC was recently discussed is this one:

But hopefully someone else will be able to share a more recent experience.

Are you sending pallets or single boxes? If it’s pallets I know this is more cost effective but where possible I would send boxes and split them up into separate shipments. Single boxes seem to be delivered and checked in within 3 - 4 days.

Totally agree, LTL pallet shipments could easily take a month at the moment, there was an x-mas backlog last year round this time. I assume there’s quite a bit of messing around with Pan-Euro fulfillment and having “4 weeks of Inventory, either side of the channel” .

SPD Boxes are usually there in a couple of days, costs more than pallet shipments but loads quicker.

I’ve done my first SPD shipment to Bristol BRS1 this week so there are a few new FCs getting a look in. Not everything is going to BHX1/4.

Good luck all.

Having similar issues with CWL1. Been sitting in Tamworth UPS from the 8th Oct and no further updates to the tracking.
