Return for change of mind but charged for label
I thought if a buyer used the change of mind reason for return that the seller didn’t pay the return postage label?
yet I have been charged it seems, has something changed?

Yes, the Prepaid Return Label Policy about 5 months ago.
ALL labels are initially charged to the seller, irrespective of the return reason. However for a change of mind, you are able to deduct the value of the label from the refund.

Well you would presumably win an A to Z as you would have refunded as required (I’m unsure how the customer is notified they will be charged for the return label, but I believe they are).
We’ve been doing it and have had zero complaints from customers

Yes I have had this, however no box to tick to keep the return fee only a box to tick to give the Customer back their original deliver charge…

Yes, I’ve not yet spotted the box to tick to do this but there was another thread about this the other day. Apparently there are 2 different screens regarding refunding, which have different layouts and options depending on whether you come at it via the order, or via Amazon’s returns widget on the home page. Apparently if you refund via the widget, providing the buyer’s return reason is such that they can be deemed liable for return postage costs, there should be a box to tick to deduct it. Not yet tried it myself.
