Any point complaining to Amazon about UPS?

Hi,

I’ve had terrible problems with UPS recently. My stock is stored at a warehouse and the chap who owns it stays there later than he would do normally when UPS are due to collect. On quite a few occasions now, they have just failed to arrive with no warning and when I try and phone on the day which the collection is due to confirm whether or not they are coming, no-one is able to tell me.

Today he waited until 5.40 for a collection which was booked between 12 and 4pm. UPS had been assuring me all day that the collection was going ahead but eventually at 5.40pm told me it wasn’t. I’ve complained to the local hub, on Twitter etc but with no resolution.

I am soon to start shipping on pallets from this address instead of using UPS but wonder if there is any point in complaining to Amazon about this in the meantime as they would obviously have more clout than I do.

Issue is with UPS and seems to be a local issue rather than anything else so you would be better contacting UPS, or ask the driver what times best for collections is it your 12-4 is either to early or late which is casuing issues I agree it should make no difference but better on the right side of the local courier than wrong I would say.
