anyone know?
Is it considerably cheaper than sending box by box?

That really depends on what your sending, how many and the weight.
Also, it will depends on the rates that you can get for parcels and pallets.

Shipping pallets can be a bit cheaper if your selling high quantity fast moving product but as you would expect there are restrictions on pallet type such as needs to be heat resistant to x level etc.
We ship into fba most days between 3-6 boxes and only replenishing what we know is going to run out in the next few weeks, this way it keeps our cost down with storage fees etc. and it means we never have more than xxK in stock sat dead at amazon it took us some time to realise this was best for our business and cheaper but what works for our way may not be best for you.

also, you might want to do a dummy shipment as some ASIN will go to different center, so might be cheaper to do by box rather than pallet as you will then need to do more than 1 pallet.

Another thing to think about is if you send all your stock on a single pallet, that pallet then gets delayed, you’re stuffed.
@ron585 how many parcels do you send with Parcelforce if you don’t mind me asking? I’ve never been able to get rates that low.

We found it cheapest to send 3 boxes up to 62 x 52 x 45 cm up to 10 kg totalling £7.80 (2.60 per box). That’s UPS bought through Amazon. I have tried many different combinations but everything else ends up to £3.60 per box. No matter how many boxes we send, we always separate them to 3 per shipment.
