Anyone ever received THIS EMAIL from Amazon-UK? (Very ODD, but NOT SPAM!)

Anyone ever received this email? Never ever seen this one before, in about 15 years of selling.

It is in my account’s notifs, so not spam.

But the reply-to email is unusual (apuk-seller-verification-enquiry@amazon.co.uk) and different from the sender (seller-verification-enquiry@amazon.co.uk).

I don’t know what they mean as a.o. I have only 1 selling account on Amz UK, and receive Amazon payments to this bank account only from thisd 1 selling account.

Have they made an error?

I replied right away, when might I get an acknowledgement of my reply or anything?

Here’s the email received;

From: seller-verification-enquiry@amazon.co.uk

There are lots of phishing emails daily. It would be good if Amazon sends messages to the seller account online rather than their email. All sellers can pick emails when logged in and action anything that needs actioning. There has been numerous phishing attempts which look very genuine. It appears they context of the email is copied from a genuine email and with the hyperlinked edited to a website which appears to look like Amazon.

I always look at the header of the email and look at the IP location. There are several videos online how the recipient can check location of email.
