Turning off auto authorised returns?

Hi I expect this topic has been discussed but I am annoyed at these Auto-authorised returns for items people have had for months. They regularly kill of plants and today I received a few leaves back in a plastic bag - not even the pot in which the plant was sent out. I can’t even refund the customer first and stop them using a label generated automatically by Amazon and also paid for by me.

I assume there is no way of turning off these auto autorisations as I think Amazon imposed them on my account some time ago?

No unfortunately no way of turning them off - you could opt for a returnless refund

I would have thought flowers would have been exempt though?

The cost of the return label is more than my items sell for so I can’t even deduct the label cost :frowning: its another one of their stupid ideas! Hopefully they will reverse it at some stage but I’m not holding my breath

I thought you could only open a return for 30 days. I know that customer support can step in outside of that, but generally it’s within 30 days isn’t it?

Settings - Return Setting - Resolutions Tab

here you can create a returnless rule (which basically means you will refund all customers automatically when they open a return for an item under the amount you specify without requiring the return) - or turn it off again
