Difference in Amazon Prime delivery times

Hi,
I currently sell 3 products on Amazon, all are small and light products fulfilled by Amazon. The delivery time on my products changes regularly, sometimes it’s 1-2 days and there’s a Prime badge next to it, sometimes its 2-3 weeks and there’s no Prime badge. For instance, currently one of my products has next day delivery with a Prime badge next to it, currently one of them has no Prime badge and delivery for 30th of June, almost 2 weeks.
The products are all the same size, weight and all fulfilled by Amazon with small and light. I send Amazon the products in exactly the same way.
I’ve tried speaking to Amazon but one person just gave me a link to handling times for fulfilled by merchant sellers (which I am clearly not and I told them that), and another said that Amazon’s algorithm picks products at random, some get next day delivery some don’t. I can’t believe that that’s true, that would be a terrible system and most of my competitors offer next day delivery fulfilled by Amazon and it never changes.
If anyone has some idea as to why my delivery times are different and constantly change I would really appreciate it, as I’m sure you can understand having such long delivery times affects sales so this is quite a serious problem for me. I just want to understand what I can do to ensure all of my products have the Prime badge and offer 1-2 day delivery with Prime,
Thanks

It may depend on your products… At the moment Amazon have been prioritising some things above others depending on demand due to lower than normal staffing levels. The date may be far later on one, but chances are it will ship fairly quickly anyway. That’s been my experience as a customer!

S&L is disptached mostly by RM and so it depends when you placed the order and whether you got prime or not then it define the service. Normally S&L do not use other courier service as it is not cost effective.

As to Prime badge, it can be depends on how you log in and time of day as well as device used. There is not a lot you can do with FBA as it changes to reflect what Amazon can handle. Only a few weeks ago, we got more SFP than FBA which is unheard of (like 120%); now it is back to 10% SFP.

do SFP.

What I don’t really understand though is why my two other products (for now at least, although they seem to change) currently have next day delivery when they should all be sent the same way?
Also what seems strange to me is that if I log out of my Amazon account and search for my products, the delivery time actually decreases. Rather than the 30th of June, it says the 24th. How can people who have Amazon Prime have a longer delivery time than those who don’t?

I just wanted to add a quick update. Since my last message 36 minutes ago, one of my products which had one-day deliery now has two day delivery (I’m not too concerned about this), one which had one-day delivery now has delivery for the 23rd, 5 days instead of one day, and the product that had the longest delivery time of the 30th of June (12 days) and no Prime badge, now has a Prime badge and delivery of the 25th (7 days). This seems crazy to me. How have two of my products now got increased delivery times, and the other has an improved delivery time? It just makes no sense and it doesn’t seem to happen to my competitors. If anyone has any idea what I can do to keep a consistent delivery time please let me know. Perhaps normal FBA would fix things as you say Onemore, but the fees for this are essentially double and that would have a big impact on my profit margin.
