Add / Edit Customisation Information Changes
Add / Edit Customisation Information - I went to do this yesterday and apply my existing template, but although it would let me apply it, it was asking for Surfaces and images… I haven’t got a clue what it is on about and therefore could not add customisations.
Is there are guide anywhere on what to do? I am hoping it’s simple once I know.
Any help / guidance would be much appreciated.
Thank you!

The surface is where the customisation will be - for example, a name on the ‘front’.
It’s for when more than one surface is customised - for example ‘front’ and back’.
Is it a required field? - I can’t remember using it!

I just had a quick look at one of mine.
I just didn’t fill it in because it’s self explanatory where the customisation goes on mine (the front) and there are no other options or ‘surfaces’ that I personalise.
If you have more than one surface for customisation - fill in a name ‘front’, ‘back’ for example and then add an image of these surfaces personalised

We have started seeing this on some of our listings too. Was playing around today, its so the customer can see the personalisation on the product.
Eg if its a card with a name on it you work through the surface options by adding a blank version of the card without the personalisation uploading a font, show the font colour and then adding where the personalisation would go.
The customer can then see the the finished product before adding to basket.
I have done it with one of our products to test it, it took a while to get head around it and the main thing i dislike is i couldnt add one of the fonts we use and also there is no way to say what size text so it looks really big on product. There is a disclaimer about the preview amazon add.
We have 4000 products it would take us an age to do the all.
