Supplement Product: They are reading LOT number as an expiration date? Crazy..
Hello there,
ASIN: ASIN: B0CVVGS9QS
We sell supplements and they are not cheap. Recently, 21 units were stranded. The reason is that the FBA Ops team don't how to read LOT number and expiration date on the bottle label and don't know what is the difference between them. Therefore, they are completely ignoring the actual supplement expiration date even we sent images and explained visually what these numbers are.
They keep denying the request to remove the expiration date flag for the ASIN in question. And we have hundreds of products in stock and we are really concerned about them to be flagged as expired units and get stranded due to these uneducated FBA Ops staff.
FYI: We have these *LOT NUMBERS* for each product so if we ever had to need to identify a batch.
Please, help us to remove the expiration date flag for these 21 units and prevent other units also wrongly get stranded. They are hurting our business.

Thank you.

Hello @Seller_P9macGf5YUEJu. Thanks for checking in about that shipment of supplements.
I reviewed CASE ID: 15283146721 and see that it is still active, and that the team is reviewing your request and the stranded products.
The below seller help page has guidance and best practices for labeling requirements. Please take a look and see if there are any suggestions which will help you with future shipments.
Expiration dates on FBA products
- Any expiration date must be clearly labeled. A best-by or sell-by date is considered the equivalent of an expiration date.
- Any manufacturing date must be clearly labeled. A manufacturing date is the equivalent of a production date.
