FBA for XMAS, is it too late?

Is it too late to send products in for Christmas sales? I know UPS are fast but when stock arrives to Amazon it takes time. Will the customer get to see the products to order before Christmas? The Covid situation is slowing things down. Am I better of selling direct?

might be worth looking at booking at collection to see on their schedules and then keep half to sell FBM just in case ?!

Some sellers are reporting a couple of weeks between the warehouse receiving the stock and it going ‘live’ on the site
are you a new seller ?

We are still full speed sending FBA. We got hampered because our container of base items got stuck in the backlog at Felixstowe for 3 weeks :disappointed:

We’ve had no problems with collections as UPS comes to us every day anyway. Just keep shoveling it in!

I shipped a box on Tuesday and was selling from it yesterday…

But not all turn round quite that quick!

We sent what would normally last to January towards the end of November but had to send more in recently and tbf things seem to be moving relatively quickly for UK to UK FC about 10 days

Definitely keep sending - I mean a week would be long from sending to online and it’s still only end of November

This year FBA seems to be spot on . Currently it has taken only 3 days from collection to be listed live.

It will also depend on the individual FC. We have recently sent stuff to BHX4 which was booked in within a couple of days, but had one shipment at EMA2 sat there for two weeks.

Agree with previous - it’s all down to the centre.
BHX4, traditionally been 1 week or more is flying at the moment, shipments of 18+ pallets going straight on by Thursday.
XBH1 - Usually fast, but even our local haulage depot is saying the have a 200+ pallet backlog and ‘please don’t send any more pallets!’

Small and light centres appear to be backlogged as well. left here 15 Nov, booked in to fulfillment centre on 22nd and still not in stock on the 28th. 2 shipments. EUKA

UPS picked up yesterday at 3pm and it was available to sell at 5pm today - very quick for me! although the warehouse it went to was local so i guess it depends how large your shipment is and the location (this was BHX4) which seems to be quick
