Amazon won't let me pay my balance and close my account
Hi All,
I really hope someone can help, I've been speaking to seller support for the last few days and I can't take it anymore. They must be like that on purpose because no human being can be that useless. They take 20 minutes "researching" and then just repeat what my question was or tell me something like you must wait 7 days after the delivery date of your last order despite me telling them I haven't sold anything for nearly 10 years!
So I haven't used my account for nearly 10 years and want to close it. It turns out I owed them £30.19 for FBA related charges. I tried to pay this but the maximum they would let me pay was £26.68, leaving £3.51 to pay. I tried to pay the £3.51 but the option to do so was removed. I contacted seller support who said it will automatically be taken on the 27/01/2025 which was yesterday. No payment was taken and the date has now changed to the 03/02/2025 which will no doubt change again. I just want to pay my balance and close my account and never think about amazon ever again but they won't let me.
Any help would be massively appreciated. My account is an individual and hasn't been active for years. I have spoken to so many different seller support agents, none of which have helped one little bit.
