Application to sell a product in toys/games

I am sure this will have been answered before but I couldn’t find the topic.

I have purchased 12 Hey Duggee Clocks and I have to apply for permission to sell. I have now lost count how many times I have sent in invoices, photos and documentation as requested by Amazon. Every time, I keep getting the same message of ‘You are required to send an invoice…’ ‘You need to provide photos…’

I don’t seem to be able to get this message through to anyone- I have tried instant chat, e-mail etc.

Has anyone else had this problem? Equally, do I need to go through this process every time I want to sell a product?

Thank you in advance.

They are generally more specific in their requests for ungating. If they are querying the invoice then it could be because it isn’t a valid invoice or the description of the product varies in some way for example.

If it’s photos then it is often because there is a lack of compliance with labeling rules or they can’t read the required info.

Is it a proper invoice from the manufacturer or wholesaler? Bear in mind that receipts from retailers and some cash’n’carry outlets won’t be accepted.

Again, thank you ever so much.

It was from a company called 8th Wonder who are accredited and make lots of products in this country. They only sell to trade. It was a proper invoice I uploaded as a file.

It is interesting that you think the new company and safety requirements could be a reason.

Maybe I’ll try with other products I have.

Appreciate all of your time

I am awaiting the latest response but I made a point of getting a proper invoice and not a proforma (made that mistake initially).

I’ll post the latest message from Amazon when I receive it - just in case they accept it this time!!

Really like the help I am getting - thank you

Ok… I have received a reply and, yet again, they have declined my application. The previous correspondence was as below:

Hello from Amazon Selling Partner Support,

Thank you for your application to sell Toys products. We’ve reviewed the documentation you provided and determined that it does not meet the following reasons:

Product Packaging Picture:
– The images provided do not meet the EU labelling guidelines, which state that address on the label must be in an EU country. Please provide product images that meet this requirement.
– The product shown in the product packaging photos cannot be found on the invoice that you submitted. Please provide an invoice showing purchase of the same product shown in your product packaging photos.

– Please provide 1. Invoice 2. Product Packaging Picture

To view the full list of requirements, navigate to Seller Central, and then select “Catalog” and “View Selling Applications” to access your Selling Application dashboard. Locate the application you wish to review, and select “Go to Application.” Once you’ve obtained documents that meet the requirements, upload them within the application, and select “Submit.”

You can respond to this case within the next 5 business days or request that we close this application if you are unable to provide the required documentation. Should you request to close this application, you are welcome to create a new application at a later time. Thank you for your cooperation.

Thank you for selling with Amazon.

An invoice was provided (with the product highlighted) in addition to other products.

The product was made in The UK and this was clearly shown in 1 of the many photos I sent.

I would love and appreciate any help as I am getting no where with Amazon.

Thank you.

Thank you, once again.

The Picture I keep sending has the following information…

For advice or information regarding this or any other 8th Wonder product please visit us at ur website www.8thwonder.co.uk or call +44 (0) 1942829811 8th Wonder Ltd., WN1 3AP, UK
8th Wonder Toys Ltd., D07 P4AX, IRE

I have checked the packaging and there is nothing else with regards where it was made or addresses.

Is it the address do you think?

Could you post the pictures you are sending them? Maybe someone else will pick up on something you are missing?

I agree the address might be causing a few problems but there is nothing else on the packaging or product.

I have tried up loading the photos but apparently the name of he photo (a mixture of characters from my iPad) contains a word not allowed. No idea what this is!

Thank you

I’ll keep working on the photos

Ok… any ideas how to upload a photo on here? It won’t accept a pdf after I have saved the photo to my files. It won’t accept the photo taken with my iPad…
