Extra charges on amazon fee
Hello,
I have created seller account for ‘UK’ market only, for which i should only be charged £25.00 a month but i have been charged £40.00 for the first month.
Please tell me what’s the extra account charges could be? If there’s another marketplace added (Europe or Italy, France) how i can remove that. Because I will be only selling in the UK market.

Hi,
Sign up page has been changed over the last one or two years, so unlike in the past (where sellers were allowed to choose between selling through the EU marketplaces or exclusively through their source marketplace, in your case the UK one) sellers are now forced to sign up for the EU unified account, even if you wish to sell in just one marketplace.
However, this doesn’t seem to be your case as you’ve been charged a bit higher than the usual amount (about £10: unless you are a company with VAT exempt, don’t forget that the professional selling fee is actually £30.00, i.e. £25.00 + VAT).
Therefore, which sign up page did you use? The UK or the Global one? And, more importantly, how many countries are you seeing on your dashboard?

Your £40 charge is the equivalent of the 46.80€ monthly subscription (39€ + Vat) when signing up on an EU marketplace, which has then been converted to £ sterling.
