Brand name permanently affixed to product?

Hi,

I am trying to make my first FBA listing and I’m going to request the exemption from product ID. The items are unbranded and unbarcoded picture frames. The exemption rules state: * Branding is permanently affixed on the packaging and/or product.
Does this apply to all products? The usual way for branding a picture frame is by way of a paper insert that is inside the frame itself and then removed by the end user - this wouldn’t be “permanent” so would it be OK or not? If not, how do I proceed?

Thanks.

Do you have a brand to use? Wouldn’t you be listing as generic?

You don’t have to brand it if you want to sell it as Generic.

You would apply for the exemption of the Brand Name “Generic” in the category you are going to list in.

Your photos should prove that there is no branding or barcode on the product or packaging.

You only have to apply the barcode (which is a FNSKU code) to send items into FBA.

Your task at hand at the moment is to apply for GTIN exemption and prove that your item does not have a barcode. Forget about FBA until you have the exemption and the listing made. Don’t mention FBA/FNSKU or anything to Seller Support, they have a hard enough keeping up at the best of times.

When I got the exemption it for the brand name and the category, not each individual product
