Can anyone provide information on whether there is a timeframe that FBA Reimbursements must be paid to sellers, after a case is opened regarding shipment to Amazon claims and fulfillment center operations claims? Or, how long does Amazon have to reverse a reimbursement? We have searched policies and agreements, but do not see a set timeframe listed.
We are experiencing cases that were opened in 2024, just recently being reimbursed for far below what the value was at the time the case was opened. Note: These were opened before the reimbursement policy change, and we should have been reimbursed for the estimated proceeds under the policy at the time. Also, disposition was NEW and SELLABLE before being lost, so they should qualify for 100% reimbursement.
We are also seeing reimbursement reversals up to nine months after the original reimbursement. Under the new FBA Reimbursement Policy, sellers have 60 days to open a claim. Can these claims truly be reversed up to nine months later? This is creating difficulty tracking inventory when it is "found" after this amount of time, and funds are reversed.
