How to create an new ASIN with existing EAN
I want to list a product with an EAN which is already associated with another ASIN. This ASIN has been flagged for potential policy violations (not by us) - I think some time ago.
I would like to create a “clean” listing for this product but when I try to list it, it automatically defaults the new ASIN to the old (invalid) one.
Is there any way to create a new listing with the existing EAN?
(I figure there must be - there are many listings which are for the same branded grocery product which have different ASINs but for sure have the same barcode)
Thanks

No, not with the same EAN. Once it’s associated that’s that. It’s also worth being very careful trying to list something that has previously been flagged unless you have the solution.
It’s much more likely that they have been listed again either with a new barcode (which may not even be on the product) or with an exemption. Neither would comply with Amazon’s policy as a product should only be listed once if it is the same product.
