Amazon haul

what’s everyone thought on this

People taken away from the main Amazon site

Delivery will be weeks ( customers may assume that’s the normal and just use alternative)

We go through loop after loop to verify product and there are pages and pages of junk

I could go on and on

Personally I think a banner should come up saying you are being taken away from prime next day delivery and take to our alternative site , please return for prime

I’ve no idea what Amazon haul is and not bothered to search. Hopefully not another metric.

Honestly it is probably okay if you want to wait for your order and pay less. If you want it quickly then it will be of no use

Not really sure it would put people off from using prime as the whole selling point of prime is that you normally get it the next day. With FBM orders I can't see too much of an impact as delivery speeds will be again quicker.

I think they are aimed at 2 totally different type of customers really.

I haven't heard any noise about it since it launched several months ago so wonder if anyone is actually using it, in the UK at least. It may quietly disappear soon.

This is definitely a topic that's been coming up in the community. Amazon Haul is designed as a separate shopping experience focused on ultra-low-priced items — it has its own dedicated basket, search, and checkout, so it does operate distinctly from the core Prime experience. Customers shopping there are made aware of the different delivery windows.

I get the frustration around the verification process on your end though. The standards we hold sellers to on the main marketplace are there to protect both customers and sellers like you who invest in quality and compliance. That's actually your competitive edge — Prime eligibility, next-day delivery, and the trust that comes with meeting those standards are things that set your listings apart.

If you're looking to lean into that advantage, focusing on things like Brand Registry and optimising your listings can really help you stand out: https://sellercentral.amazon.co.uk/help/hub/reference/G200955930

Appreciate you sharing your thoughts — always good to hear what the community is thinking on these kinds of changes.

TBF had a look when I saw people posting about it and its filled with cheap crap probably worse than you would get on temu with long delivery times. I feel people may use once or twice but not regularly.
