PAN EU Ineligible ASINs problem Linked FOOD AND BEVERAGE
Our ASIN is cosmetic ingredients which has been classified as a food or beverage and it automatically became ineligible for the PAN-EU.
We try to delete and relist the ASINs but still ineligible PAN EU. ( still linked as FOOD AND BEVERAGE)
They are in correct category ( BEAUTY>hair care; Beauty>Skin…) .
Until few days ago was no problem but now over 10 ASINs are linked as food and beverage and still no resolution until now.
Anybody have this issue and resolved ?
Thank you

Literally the same thing happening with us right now (fitness equipment). We are not sure if they have linked us to food, or medicine or something else but we’re struggling to get answers.

I thought it was just a problem for me.
Maybe it’s more general and there will be many cases open.
I hope that the problem will be solved as soon as possible. EFN fees are very high compared to EU PAN.
We already have significant losses, we sold a lot with EFN without realizing it.

If anyone solves this problem please let me know how you did it.
This morning amazon gave me another surprise, some of the products I was selling very well in PAN EU were identified as HAZMAT ( now out of PAN EU) even though they were classified as NON-DANGEROUS GOOD after they checked the MSDS provided.
I can’t understand what’s going on.
New attributes have been added to some products, such as " Age range (description) - Baby", which we did not complete and cannot edit.
Are these issues due to the fact that tomorrow the EFN sales will start between the UK and the EU and vice versa?
Thank you

We have recived this respons from support:
" Hello from Amazon Brand Registry Support,
You contacted Amazon about FBA inventory in reserved status for FNSKU XXXXXXX
Find the investigation outcome below.
111 of your items are being shipped between fulfilment centres to effectively manage storage and create the best availability for customers.Transfers typically take 1-5 days to complete. However, in some cases, it might take up to 30 days. "
A totally useless answer, which did not solve our problem in any way.
I don’t know what to do? The products are listed in the correct category, “beauty”, and still are classified as " food and beverage" and out of PAN EU service.
Has your situation changed?
We have been fighting this problem for 10 days and we have not solved anything.
Also 2 more products that were linked as HAZMAT were removed from PAN EU service even though they were classified NON Dangerous goods conform MSDS attached and reviewed by amazon.
It’s a nightmare.

we received this from seller support:
Why are these types of items ineligible?
ASINs labeled as containing food through the ‘contains_food_or_beverage’ attribute. Due to different local EU regulations as well as not having warnings/chemical compositions/allergen information/usage instructions in all EU5 languages, these ASINs are excluded from EFN
Why is this product ineligible?
The exclusion is managed at attribute level: the attribute is ‘contains_food_or_beverage’.
What should be done?
- Ensuring proper identification by checking data quality in the food flag (‘contains food or beverages’) at ASIN level.
- Identifying manufacturers providing detailed product information in all EU5 languages to whitelist relevant products.
- Exploring with legal whitelisting of mono-ingredient products.
- Developing relabeling solutions for relevant products.
We can not find this attribute to change : ‘contains_food_or_beverage’.
Where i can find it on edit product page?
Thank you

I have a similar problem. I have tried deleting and replacing various categories. But it didn’t work, it’s been two months and we’re suffering huge losses. Amazon staff, please look here~~ This is really a very serious problem. ┭┮﹏┭┮

We are also experiencing the same issue. We got 1 ASIN enrolled back into PAN EU by deleting/closing in all marketplaces, removing the SKU from the “exclusion” list within the BIL tool, waiting several hours and then re- listing the product via the BIL tool i.e. add to Amazon UK and then simply add prices from within that listing.
For all other ASINs, we’ve had no luck. Has anyone else been able to solve this yet? Please do share your experience if so! Thanks
