False return reasons
I think the secret is well and truly out. I am now finding around 75% of return requests are using an incorrect return reason in order to get a free return. The comments are usually about something else, like does not fit, or no longer require, but the reasons given usually are not as described or faulty.
It is becoming a joke now, having to keep opening safe t claims to reverse this.

Even when you do everything by the book they get you.
Had a customer open a return request for a £6.64 item with the reasoning ‘Performance or Quality Not Adequate’.
Refund at First Scan took place - amazon deducting the cost of the return label at £4.00 odd
Customer left 1 star seller feedback querying why for a £6.64 item they only got refunded £2.62. Can’t get the feedback removed even though we have done absolutely nothing wrong.
Advised the customer of the reason for the accurate refund that we have zero control over and that amazon managed all of it and just got back from the customer
" I paid £6.64 and expected to receive my FULL refund. Labels etc should be your responsibility not mine. £4.00 for a label is absolutely ridiculous. I will not purchase from you again……good day!"
Thanks amazon.
