FBA Inventory Discrepancies - “Investigation Completed – shipment contents counted and confirmed”

Any one else been reciving this message?

I recently sent 24 units of an asin as part of a larger shipment.

All were delivered by UPS at the same time but these 24 units have not appeared in inventory.

This message is alongside the particular asin

“Investigation Completed – shipment contents counted and confirmed”

The system wont allow me to RECONCILE so i opened a case and SC say the item has been already investigated and nothing further to add to the case.

I have had a few of these lately,where SC cannot account for missing items yet seem to hide behind this message and will not reimburse.

As we all know i might as well sing Dixie but it reallly pi+++sses me off. :frowning:

I had the same thing, I know 100% the missing items were in the box as it holds 150 CDs and the box was full so they can’t of been missing. Sent an email to the MD… no response and your post has just reminded me to follow up.

I have had this a few times lately but keep emailing back and forth to CS and got reimbursed

But my last and current one there were 16 items lost 12 x item 3x item and 1 x item.
Emailing back and forth getting different ‘reasons’ one CS just concentrated of the 4 unit and arranged a reimbursement. More back and forth me saying how can they can accept loosing 4 units but deny they lost the other 12 is unacceptable. I had had a message basically saying ‘tough’

I have had several cases of shipment with stock being checked incorrectly… Showing in my inventory and shipment with different colours sent but checked in to FBA as same colour (same colour boxes) is showing that staff are being lazy when checking in FBA shipment.

To me this proves that staff are not checking things correctly resulting in lost items or theft by the staff. I said in my last message to CS

We have this happening to us sometimes.

We literally take photos and packed is signed off by 2 staff prior to sending.

Eventually Amazon does find them - I don’t understand how that’s possible :slight_smile:

Well, you know, Amazon needs to get their own stock from somewhere and they ain’t gonna pay for it.

The other problem is it takes 3 or 4 weeks sometimes before you can reconcile by which time your courier doesn’t want to know either!!

Does anyone know where I can apeal about this please?

It’s just happened to me again, only 3 items but a selling price of £230. I can’t afford to have this keep happening, it’s been the last 3 shipments with items missing. Mt items aren’t large but they are expensive

It’s completely unacceptable that Amazon staff are either being incompetent or dishonest. With this last shipment I packed then had two people check it off on the print out of the shipment so no way is it wrong. I don’t wrap things up in bubblewrap so there is no way things can mistakenly get thrown out with rubbish

Very frustrating. Amazon has effectively just closed the book on these cases and in our experience nothing you can do or say will result in reimbursement of the stock.

Another £50 of stock lost due to investigation completed.

It is just so unfair.
