Suggested Price With Markdown Shown
Since the change to how prices are displayed, last year, our prices have always shown no markdown, they simply show the selling price only. No previous price, no MRP, no suggested price, just the actual price that we are selling the goods for.
We note though, that other brands either manage to highlight a struck through MRP or a struck through suggested price, with a highlighted percentage saving also showing.
Does anybody know as to how they are manage to do this?
TIA

You can set an RRP for your goods. Please however be aware of the ASA guidelines for use of RRP.
https://www.asa.org.uk/advice-online/recommended-retail-prices-rrp.html
Key Points
Do not use RRPs given by the manufacturer as your only substantiation for savings claims
Avoid stating an “RRP” if you are the only seller of the product
Do not use RRPs for products that have not yet launched
Be aware advertising a price isn’t the same as selling at that price
Be aware that “generally sold” can vary based on product and sector

Unfortunately, Amazon is no longer showing the MRP struck through once you decrease your product’s price, as sellers used to set the price high and then pretend to sell with a discount.
Some listings are still displaying a struck through price, however this is a part of specific promotions, rather than a regular feature.
