Amazon are holding onto funds owed to me for no reason
I have still not been reimbursed for a £200 item I sold on the site on the 26th March this year. On the 11th, 17th and 24th April and the 1st May I received emails from Amazon stating “Your payment is on the way and will arrive within 3-5 working days.” This has not occurred on any of the four occasions. It is incredibly difficult to get past the FAQs on the seller site to actually log and issue, and when you do they send a holding response saying they will look into it. They have correct bank details for me, as they’ve disbursed to that account before. There is clearly a problem with their system, and they make it very difficult to interrogate it.
I have sold items on many competitor sites and forums and this is by far the worst treatment I’ve experienced. Has anyone else experienced this? it is fraud.

Does your account show an “Unavailable balance” below the disbursement figure? and is the account all fine and active?
It is a normal part of selling on Amazon to see an unavailable balance on your Payments report. The unavailable balance is the amount of money that is reserved to ensure that you have enough funds to fulfil any claims or chargebacks.
If you have an unavailable balance, it will appear in the Closing Balance section of the Statement View tab on your Payments report. Click View Reason next to the Unavailable balance to see why funds are unavailable and whether you can take action to get them faster.

Are you sure you’re replying to the right query?
No it doesn’t say ‘unavailable balance’ anywhere on my account. Anyway, that doesn’t explain why they have emailed me four times over as many weeks to say they are going to disburse the funds owed, only for them to do nothing. The item was sold more than five weeks ago, so there is absolutely no excuse for them to hold onto my money and keep taunting me saying my payment is on its way when it isn’t.

You have to have money in the account you are disbersing to otherwise it doesnt go through…

I agree with the other replies, it may be an issue with the “ping” they send to your account. It happened to me on my first sale, and I was told to have £10 in that account just to be sure. I transferred in the ten and after that my disbursement went through.

Amazon is holding our funds for over a month because they said they need to verify our account. We sent all the related docs but now every time they find excuse.
They need to pay us but they dont. This is crazy!!!
I heard I am not the only 1.
Why???
Is this legal?? it seems not, they are defaulter in my case. Possible to suit them? But this will cost a fortune.
Any solutions?
