B2B Invoice by Amazon issues (confirming Despatch, Buy shipping etc.)

Anyone else having issues with Buys shipping today for the B2B orders?

Order is not showing our despatch address - Add a new ship-from address. When I fill this up its showing an error

Orders have a business name of - Amazon Business EU SARL

When I click on buy shipping - Below in red it says "Buy Delivery currently does not support multi-package shipping for certain areas. You can use Ship Confirmation to dispatch multiple packages for single order."

Invoice by Amazon orders can only be shipped from locations where you have a valid VAT registration number. Go to 'Shipping Settings > General Shipping Settings' to add a valid default delivery address in your VAT registered country.

When I click on confirm despatch it says - Dispatch from: invoice by Amazon orders can only be shipped from locations where you have a valid VAT registration number. Go to 'Shipping Settings > General Shipping Settings' to add a valid default delivery address in your VAT registered country.

Customer purchased the order on amazon.co.uk. We are VAT registered in the UK.

Cant buy shipping labels or confirm orders for the business customers. Some of these orders are prime orders

Hi there.

We ship SFP and we have the exact same issue since 24/09/2025. We are unable to despatch any B2B orders that are Invoiced by Amazon.

"Invoice by Amazon orders can only be shipped from locations where you have a valid VAT registration number."

We are VAT registered and verified in the main account settings, and we have had no address changes.

Ticket raised, but no reply from Amazon support as of yet. We have manually created labels and despatched the orders, but we are unable to confirm the despatch or add tracking directly to the orders in Seller Central.

Our despatch from address has vanished, and we are unable to add a new one, (even though our details have not changed).

I'll update this post if I eventually get a resolution from Amazon.

Hi,

Yes, we are facing the exact same issue since the 24/09.

Have opened a case but no response as of yet.

Still no reply from Amazon support on this issue.

We have deactivated the VAT Calculation Service (Invoiced by Amazon) for now to limit the impact on possible auto-refunds and defects against our account.

We will miss some B2B sales in the meantime, but this is the only way I could find to stop these type of orders coming through until they fix the issue.

We will look to reactivate the VAT Calculation Service once Amazon confirm the issue has been fixed.

Managed to manually confirm shipments this afternoon after deactivating the Amazon VAT Service (Invoiced by Amazon). Unsure if that caused the ship from address to reappear, or if Amazon has actually fixed the issue?

Only by de-activating Invoice By Amazon Orders. Which has lost us numerous sales as we are way down.

We are having this issue. All our business customer orders have been shipped correctly through Veeqo and now Amazon say they will cancel them as they are not shipped when they are. No help at all from support and Amazon are refunding the orders!!

Invoice by Amazon is not working. I deactivated it to dispatch orders, and activated it later. However, the problem has come back after Amazon fully applies the Invoice by Amazon. It is back to square one. I am unable to dispatch orders, with 'invoice by Amazon' active.

*** UPDATE *** So after deactivating VCS (Invoiced by Amazon) last Monday, we managed to despatch the B2B orders affected by this issue, as our ship from addresses showed up in the "Confirm Shipment" section of the order page.

However... this then meant that we were back to manually uploading copy VAT invoices for B2B customers, which is very time consuming, and also raised the next massive issue that Amazon was now logging ALL ORDERS (not just B2B) as 0% VAT rated, showing the line items at full inc. VAT price, with 0% VAT on the order.

We reactivated VCS Monday afternoon, we were given a VCS live date of 4th October... and as other sellers have mentioned, we are back to square one with the original issue where we are unable to confirm shipment of B2B orders due to the error message "Invoice by Amazon orders can only be shipped from locations where you have a valid VAT registration number. Go to 'Shipping Settings > General Shipping Settings' to add a valid default delivery address in your VAT registered country".

So... There is no way to turn of orders from B2B customers as far as I'm aware. The only way to despatch B2B orders is to deactivate VCS. If you deactivate VCS, all our orders come through as 0% VAT rated, and we have to manually upload copy invoices for B2B customers.

We are unsure where to go from here!?

If @TaylorR_Amazon could please escalate this ASAP, it would be greatly appreciated!!!

Our original case ticket number with Seller Support is 11550507822, and so far there has been no valid response (passed query to the relevant team).

If any other sellers are still having similar issues, please add your comments to this thread.

*** UPDATE - 22/10/2025 ***

We still have the main case open with seller support (Case ID - 11550507822), and we still have VCS deactivated (so manually uploading VAT invoices).

More worryingly, over the past couple of days, Amazon has started to issue full refunds to some of the original B2B orders that were caught up in this glitch. We now have a separate support case open for this refund issue (Case ID - 11630405662), as we have had no notifications from Amazon as to the reason for these refunds.

All the orders were correctly despatched after deactivating VCS, with tracking numbers and copy VAT invoices uploaded.

I can only guess that Amazon's system still has these orders flagged as not despatched in the background, and the ship by date has now expired, so they've automatically cancelled/refunded the orders?

We also had a random phone call from Amazon's VCS team asking why we had VCS deactivated, so I explained the issues we (and others) have been having, and they said they would email us back... but no contact since.

Either way, there has still been no update from seller support about this major issue, and the problems relating to this glitch only seem to be getting worse.

*** Please could someone from Amazon seller forum support chase this up and reply to this group with some actual information! ***
