Extra protection warranty option is automatically added
Hi, I just made a new Listing and it’s automatically added extra protection for 2 years and 3 years warranty for extra charge, is any way I can deactivate that?
Thank you.

They cover it, not you. For example, you’ve bought a phone from Apple on contract with Sky… Sky offer you insurance for 3 years at £20 and you accept… You accidentally damage your phone and let Sky know, Sky will repair it, not Apple. Essentially third party insurance.

When you say automatically added - do you mean when you add to basket you are offered the opportunity to add an extended warranty? If so I think that is an ‘Amazon’ thing they upsell of their own not to do with you?

No, It’s from my created listing, there is a option which allows buyers to get extra protection warranty option for 2 or 3 years for extra charge, and my question is if I can disable somehow that option?

Would you mind sharing the ASIN, I am not exactly sure what it is that you mean?

Is it below the buy box? As Peter has already written, I believe this is an Amazon thing to sell their own protection, not to do with you as the seller. I assume you cannot disable that as it’s Amazon given

Yes, It’s below buy box, so if this is Amazon thing, and they offer accidental damage cover, do they cover it? or I’ll be responsible for the accidental damage?
