Why Are Delivery Times Displaying As So Long?
On my SFP items they are showing as 2 days delivery i.e. Weds 26th if ordered today (22nd,) even though Amazon will want me to deliver by 25th using DPD or RM 24.
For none Prime customers it’s showing as free delivery by 28th April - 2nd May which is nonsense as I still have to deliver by 25th. It also shows fastest delivery by 26th April which I presume is the Premium shipping option but the 28th April - 2nd May will really put people off.
Any ideas why it won’t show next day delivery for Prime customers? And why it’s showing as a week delivery fo non-Prime?

My answer from seller support was this ……
Kindly note that delayed/extended delivery dates can appear on the detail page due to the following reasons.
- It can happen due to carrier availability to ship the order.
- There can be postcode issue for which the order can be delayed.
- It can also happen due to order delivery timings, which is the order is showing a two day delivery date or showing a late delivery date which depends on the timing of the order or the date can based on your previous performance.
- Due to the ongoing Royal Mail strikes, the delivery dates have been extended in certain locations where deliveries are getting affected by the strike.
Hope this helps you .
