How to close my account?

Hello,

I have made this account last year and my account was deactivated soon after creation, even though I verified all my details Amazon still thinks I haven’t. Anyway I never got around to selling anything and I am now working full time so I won’t be doing anything with my business and I never begun trading anyways.

So I would like to close my account if possible, I am trying to do this through the account options section but when I click on close account it does not show up. Possibly because Amazon is still asking me to reactivate my account to resume selling, so it’s basically limiting my options.

Any way I can close my account please? Would love to get this done ASAP.

You will need to update your information if you would like to close your account, as we are unable to close an account without verifying your identity information.

If you would like to do this, then please consider the below points as a requirement for the documents before a submission:

  • Should be valid (not expired, revoked, or closed)
  • Be high-quality, in color, and unobstructed (not angled, blurry, or cropped)
  • Show the full page , its should not be a screenshot
  • Display matching information (such as your ID number or name) that you use to register to sell on Amazon
  • Be scanned images, or a photo taken from your mobile device’s camera (no screenshots)
  • Display the full document (front and back, if applicable)
  • Be less than 10MB in size
  • Be in one of these formats: gif, png, jpg, pdf, and docx.
  • Do not include special characters in the file name (examples: $, &, or #)
  • Be authentic and unaltered
