Buyer taking advantage of the business

Please do advise me what I should be doing in this situation.

---

Buyer ordered an item and instantly claimed I sent him an empty box, which of course I wouldn't do.

I refunded him as to avoid all of the unnecessary messaging and explanations over a small order. Usually they go away.

He ordered it instantly again.

I cancelled the order.

He ordered it again.

Obviously I can't keep sending him free items (of course he will ask for a refund again).

Obviously I cannot keep canceling the orders because that affects the account.

Now what? 😅

Sounds like a customer who knows what he is doing and how to platy the system ! - use the report abuse - type into blue search box at top of page.

I had the same thing. The next time they ordered, I did send them an empty envelope. They stopped placing orders after that. Of course, I lost the postage, and unfortunately, they probably just moved on to scam someone else.

Cancelling orders will negatively impact your account health as per Order cancellations policy . Instead, please document the entire situation, including all order numbers and communication with this buyer, and, as other sellers recommend, keep reporting it to Amazon using Report abuse tool.

Sakura

Great advice! Keep sending the items thereby losing your money (YOUR money, not Amazon's) but document everything!

Yes, Amazon may eventually ban the customer after a few (or more likely, many) reports but you won't get your money back.
