Label quality for FBA Shipment absolutely shocking on Zebra GK420d

Wonder if anyone has any sage advice on this?

Did an FBA shipment yesterday and took it to the drop-off location today. He had to manually key in the tracking number.

Done another today and the barcode is just not crisp at all. The barcodes are wavy.

Now. The immediate response will be that the printer settings are wrong. All I will say is it prints 100% using Parcel2Go, Royal Mail Click and Drop and other interfaces without ANY issue.

The PDF looks crisp enough but I’ve no idea what settings to change in the Zebra print dialogue. They are all set to the highest setting with smooth dithering. Even tried no dithering. No change!

Even tried Microsoft Edge as the browser instead of Chrome. No difference.

UPDATE:

Got it to print fine by using “Save as PDF”. Opening the PDF and then printing from there.

A bit of a faff but it’s a workaround.

Still be interested in hearing peoples’ experiences though if there is a way to get them to print direct correctly.
