Name & Address on document must match Name & Address on account - BUT THEY DO?!?!

I am stuck beyond words, can anyone on the forums enlighten me what I am missing? I am a brand new seller. I launched my EU account but it got deactivated instantly. Amazon requested documents to verify my identity. Fair enough, I agree. I submitted all the documents requested:

  • Passport ID
  • Utility Bill dated in the past 90 days
  • Tax Return
  • Business Registration Certificate
  • Bank & CC statements

I naively assumed my account would be reinstated in no time, because every document matches the name and address on my seller central account. I was convinced that there is no room for error and everything was fully matching. But here I am, after 5 failed appeals, 5 failed efforts at trying to prove to Amazon verification team that my documents DO INDEED match the Business Name and Business Address on my account! I am so stuck! Can anyone here help me, and advise me what else I can try to get my account reactivated?

Hi iwhat does the rejection say it will usually pot towards one of 3 sections to what your failing on

As for verification it seems to be taking the best part of 2 months for all 3 parts to be approved then you will likely have 3 of your items checked if usikg fba once approved which will slow things again unfortunately

As mentioned above its one of 2 things credit card is simple enough and docs if its an issue you must be sending something that is not compliant or name or address wrong.
What docs are you sending

Copy of Passport
Utility bill - 60 days old
Business Registration Certificate
Company Tax Return
Credit Card Statement
Bank Account Statement

The name and address are exactly the same on all documents.

What should i look for on the credit card? They already charged me on it and i use it for a million different things with absolutely no problem. Including on amazon to buy things.

Hi so most the items you have sent are outside the 90 days so won’t be accepted.

Utility make sure its still in date as of today if its out send another

Biz reg/tax return you should only need one but will need to be dated in last 90 as @Kevanden mentioned but youcan go onto CH and get updated one

Credit card statement tbh again should not be required and may potentially cause issues with them trying to check it against dispursment so would leave it off if I were you.

Bank statement date is about to become out of date if they check it after the 90 they will likely ask again so would call the bank and ask them for another to be sent out in anticipation they don’t review it until its out of date so at least you have it to hand.

This is it I get they have been overwhelmed but it started off early covid bene around a month now it seems to be around 2 months on average and some saying a lot more.

When I had issues with getting locked put my account the other day and all the verifications started springing they were all resolved within 2 days and I only lost temp sales from FBM fba stayed active.
Lost a weeks payouts well not lost just delayed rather but still all sorted within 4-5 days

No luck and absolutely no response from Amazon.

We’ve tried 2 law firms so far one in USA and one in UK. Neither were successful in getting our account reactivated.

Account Health say they don’t know either why our account is still suspended.

At this point absolutely 0. I am hoping the community would be able to lend a hand in helping us sort this out

I have no problem with waiting as long as i know there will be an answer eventually.

However with my previous appeals there have been periods of 1-1.5 months with no answer from Amazon.

Do you have an estimated timeframe? 1-2-3-10 months? something that is realistic?

Very interesting thread. You are in exactly the same boat as us, mentioned it in another thread. I’ll be honest I’ve kind of given up hope. We’ve been verified before as well. All our documents are in order and we’ve had them certified, then gone even further and had them checked by a professional. Everything aligns, but we still get the ‘we are unable to verify’
