Amazon Stamped BOL

We use Palletline for inbound deliveries into Amazon Fulfilment centres. We have recently had a whole shipment gone missing. Amazon have asked for an Amazon stamped BOL. I have provided the BOL from China to UK but as Proof of Delivery for shipment into Amazon, Palletline have sent us a stamped 'Load manifest' This isn't acceptable as POD but all that seems to be available

I have researched and found that there is a link to download a BOL, but this seems to US only or Amazon LTL Partnered.

Any clarification please.

Hello! @roulezcool_781

This is Roberto. Thank you for bringing this matter into our attention.

There are notable difference between a load manifest and a bill of lading. The bill of lading is the preferred document since it serves as a legal document between the shipper and the carrier, and it must be stamped by Amazon, this is something that your carrier should be able to provide in order to appeal the missing from inbound issues.

Please see our help page to Reconcile your shipment, where the document requirements are outlined. I wanted to highlight the section below for bill of lading information:

Proof of delivery for LTL or FTL shipments:

  • A bill of lading showing the number of boxes in the shipment and the total weight when it was picked up by the carrier.
  • A digital screenshot of the delivery appointment.
  • A copy of the delivery appointment.
  • The bill of lading must be stamped by Amazon, confirming that the shipment was received and signed for at the fulfilment centre. Your carrier should have a copy of this document. This information helps verify that the entire shipment was picked up and shipped as expected.
  • Make sure that the bill of lading has the carrier name and PRO number.

If you have an outstanding case ID in which you have provided all the documents, and you consider it warrants a second appeal, feel free to share the case ID here for further review.

Regards,

Roberto
