Lightning deals taking 50%

Hey.

I’ve ran some lightning deals over this period just to give them a go. I’m new to them and it’s pretty fun to run them.

The only problem is when I set up the deals, it’s asking me to offer 50% off. I get that it’s a deal but it leaves will barely breaking even after fees and makes the lightning deal kind of pointless.

As my products are low cost £12.99 I have to do a lightning deal with £6.50 off then fees on top.

Is there any tips to be able to get the forced 50% off to a more reasonable amount? I’ve seen lots of lightning deals with around 30% off and I’d be happy with that.

Do I have to hike my prices up before the deal? I really don’t like the idea of that as I wouldn’t want anyone to have to pay above what I truly think my product is worth.

Any suggestions?
