Listing is inactive, but units are available for sale
I have two listings which is being impacted by this problem - the first time I’ve seen this in many years.
I have two listings, both FBA, and both have units available for despatch (that is, not being transferred to other FCs). There are also other units being transferred to other FCs too. I know that not all units need to reach their destination FC for buyers to be able to purchase goods. I therefore cannot understand why the listing is marked inactive and cannot be seen to buyers whilst there is close to 200 units marked as available.
Seller support are telling me that all units need to reach their intended destination first, which goes against everything I’ve known over the past 3 years.
Has anyone ever experience this peculiar situation before?
(This isn’t a verification issue, there are no notifications, and under stranded inventory, an Amazon error is listed, but it doesn’t tell me why, or what I can do about resolving it.

I have finally resolved this.
There was an error with the fulfilment channel so I had to update it via a spreadsheet upload and change one of the variables from DEFAULT to AMAZON_EU.

I had this problem a while ago on all ASIN’s for a variation family and got the same answer as you did about units needing to reach their final destination.
Eventually seller support did look into it and corrected the issue but it took 2 weeks of pestering to get it resolved. Never sure what the problem was but it was resolved eventually.
Obviously it is wrong that all units need to reach their final destination. As long as 1 unit has reached its final destination it should be buyable. Normally an ASIN is buyable even when all units are in transfer there is just no date or a long date displayed to buyers.

Thanks for sharing your experience.
It looks like I’ll need to continue raising tickets on this, but I don’t want to wait all units to reach their destination only for them to find out there’s something else the issue, as this may take weeks. As we agree - units should be available to purchase as soon as units become ‘available’ - of which 192 units are currently.

Nope - and I’ve been selling it before so its a mystery as to why all of a sudden there’s a problem with it. It doesn’t seen any prior approvals, and from my understanding that would be usually be clear under the stranded inventory section telling me I need permission. I think this might be a backend issue, but it’s hard to engage Support to first admit there’s an issue, and even harder to take action as a result.

It was about a week apart from collection to receiving status. Usually when the stock is being received and not available the listing appears as active, but not on this occasion.
I have sent another more detailed explanation to SS.

Have you checked your performance notifications?

Yep, nothing there.
Sent another more detailed message to Support and they came back with the same scripted FC transfer response.
I thought about deleting the listing (which is often what their advice is on other inventory issues if there’s a mismatch). But I’m worried that if I delete it, then re-list it, the barcode FNSKU will be different for the newly re listed item, therefore rendering the 400 units I already have there as stranded.
