Selling of same product sourced from Alibaba
Hello, I found a great product I ordered from Amazon and hence looked up the supplier. The product is manufactured in China and available on Alibaba. There are several sellers selling this product under different brand names, but it's the same product sourced from this particular company in China. Product has a UPC also. #1, I am not sure if I can brand this same product under my brand, source it from same location and compete in selling. #2, if I can, do I need my own UPC for the same product? Can I sell it as a generic product without a brand, or should I brand it and get my own UPC. Will Amazon allow me to sell the same sourced generic product as my own unique brand?

Just don't. In two months there will be fifty sellers selling the same and the race to the bottom will begin.... you will sell at a loss to avoid storage fees.

Also, Alibaba is not a valid source for selling on Amazon. Two months in and Amazon will ask you for your invoices and deactivate your account.
