Small & Light Shipments - Bagged or Loose?

Hey everyone - looking for current advice/practice for shipping in Small & Light.

I know that they all need FNSKU labels (going to play safe rather than have Amazon label) - but do we bag them? I use to use manufacturer case packs, but since I have to open them anyway to label, looking for more efficient way.

Going to have multiple ASINs going in, so - are we meant to lob all the mixed units into a big shipping box, all loose and hope they scan them properly; or can we bag them together with nothing on the bag, and they can then scan them more accurately (in hope!)

If we bag them, do you mark it as “case packed” in the shipment page?

Thanks!

If I send 3 products of 100 each and they are small.
I label each one, put 100 into a clear bag and do that 3 times.
Put into box and send.

I only bag to make it easier for them checking in
Yeah and don’t put any labels on the bags if you go that route

We sent our first FBA shipment bagged up per FNSKU and did what they asked and put the quantity on the bag

Out of the 6 different FNSKU’s we sent they managed to scan two FNSKU’s as a single quantity instead of the 50 it contained

We now just send them all loose in a box and have sent them 4 times now and each time the quantity is correct

From the outside all the items look the same as they are in the same packaging, so i was a little worried the same would happen. But seems they now scan each one individually and havent had any issues or discrepancies touch wood

I definitely wouldn’t bag as they could still scan one of the barcodes through the plastic bag, as @the_little_shop says, that is precisely why they changed it. I have bought boxes that allow me to stack my cards in one long line and I alternate envelope colours/put in a bit of bubble wrap where the ASIN changes and, so far, all have been received correctly.

How do you get them to count correctly?
I send in 25 they scan 23, i send 100 they manage to scan 110.

Every single shipment they count something incorrect…Iv even tried putting in bags with the quantity written on it… They still count them wrong!>…

I understand the Individual option but still confused about the Case Packed option.
So if sending in 20 boxes of 12 items in one shipping outer box I cover outer barcodes - I have selected case packed and the size weight of each individual box of 12, but when come to ship via UPS Partner Carrier it tries to charge for 20 shipments.
Does their Case Packed now mean one shipment box of same item - Is it now that you cant ship case packed items and have to remove them all to make individual ?
